Which Is Your Favorite Aromatherapy Product?

Aromatherapy soap, massage oil, skin care, home care products, or candles – just a few of the many aromatherapy products on the market today.  In fact it seems aromatherapy has taken the world by storm.  So which is your favorite aromatherapy product?

Aromatherapy comes from an ancient practice that used natural plant essences to promote the well being and health of individuals.  In fact it can be dated back thousands of years.  The oils were extracted using a distilling process.  Today we have the modern version which is used to make the aromatherapy product lists.

You need to use the right aromatherapy product for the right ailment, aches & pains, injuries, or emotional well being relating to the nervous system, depression, stimulating the brain, and sedating the brain.

Tried an aromatherapy product once and didn’t like the results?  So now you’re wondering if it really works?  The answer is emphatically yes!  You just need to choose the correct product for the problem and you need to make sure that you are buying a product that has real essential oils.  So let’s have a look at some of the products available to you and how they are used.

Your aromatherapy product is going to deliver the essential oils to your body one of two ways – either through the skin or through the olfactory system which means you will be inhaling the essential oils.  The method of delivery depends on the product being used.

Skin care is achieved using three methods – facial steam, the masque, and the oil blend.  Facial steam will give you deep cleaning by adding 5 drops in a bowl of hot water.  My favorite aromatherapy product for the face is the mask.  You have so many choices.  You can refresh, tighten, and relax.  Just pick the right mask.  I also enjoy a body spritzer that includes lavender which can be used on the entire body.

Cold or sinuses getting you down?  Little bit of respiratory problems going on?  Wonder which aromatherapy product is the right one?  A simple solution is to boil a bowl of water and then add 7 drops of eucalyptus.  Put a towel over your head an inhale the vapors.  I think my favorite aromatherapy product for these conditions is one of the respiratory rubs that you rub onto the chest to help break up congestion.  They work well!

Some muscle aches and pains?  You could start by putting 12 drops of lavender and ginger into your bath water combined with ¼ cup Epson salts.  My favorite aromatherapy product for muscle aches and pains is a muscle rub that contains Eucalyptus, Peppermint, and Lemongrass.  It’s a fabulous mix!

I have a favorite aromatherapy product for cuts, scrapes, minor wounds, even athlete’s foot.  It’s a tea tree based product.  Tea tree is one of the best antibacterial, antiseptic, germicide, and fungicide on the market.  Yes it does all of these and it does it well.  It’s a very potent product so even a diluted product may occasionally need to be diluted some more.  One product does it all.  Forget the polysporin, and the iodine, and all those other first aid products.  Tea tree is really all you’ll need.

My last favorite aromatherapy product is the rose milk bath.  Don’t laugh guys you can enjoy this too.  The smell of roses instantly relaxes your mind and the milk bath is the best thing ever for toning and taking years off your skin.

Whatever your favorite aromatherapy product is what’s really important is that you are giving yourself that special treatment that you deserve to help you stay healthy physically and mentally.
